THE INTRODUCTION

Hi, I’m Thuy Nguyen a graphic design student from Swinburne University of Technology at Prahran (Yeah, the main campus that most people know is at Hawthorn). As part of my class assignment, I’m supposed to interview designers/people about their job, specifically about (1) working process with clients/designers as well as (2) what designers/ people look forward to when working with clients/designers and (3) what cause designers/people trouble during the practice.
This is a very open and friendly interview so you can feel free to express (4) your opinion or comments about clients/designers that you’ve worked with.
The interview itself is pretty long so I will split it up into 3 parts so it won’t take you more than 30 minutes each time. I won’t take more of your time for the introduction. So let’s start.

Part 1: BASIC INFO

ABOUT YOU:
What’s your name? Age?
Please stick some photos about your hobby? Interest?
Can you show me what you enjoy to do in your spare time?
Picture of what you did last weekend?
Can you give me some example of your favourite design style? (Minimalism, complexity, pop art, grungy, glossy etc.)

ABOUT YOUR JOB:
General:
Are you currently employed? Full time or part time? Or a freelancer? Can you provide a picture of your workplace?
What’s the name of recent your company? What’s it about? Please also show me your company website (If any)
What’s your income annually?
What’s your job particularly about?
How many clients do you have to work with within one week?
How many clients do you consider as loyal ones? How are they?
What's your favourite clients? From what company (their website if possible)? Can you give me some picture of them?

Part 2: WORKING PROCESS & EXPECTAION:

The working process:
What’s the process you often go through when doing the design job/ working with designers?
Is there any particular documents or forms that you used to work with clients/designers? What are they and their function?
Do you think that those papers work well? If not, why?

Expectation:
What is your ideal customer? What characteristics should they have?
Is there any client who gave you remarkable impression? How about them?

Part 3: THE PROBLEMS & OPINION

PROBLEMS: 
Do you often get into trouble with clients? How often is that?
Can you state some common examples? (Please you state around 3 or more)
